Job summary

CAREER INTERNATIONAL - FOS Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for milling with 4-5 axis capability. Based at Pioneer Road, you will prepare CNC programs, generate setup sheets with tool lists, and ensure all tooling and programs comply with quality and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years in CNC Milling with 4-5 axis programming, plus strong CAD/CAM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Candidates with related professional certificates may be considered.
• Minimum 3 years experiences in CNC Milling manufacturing with 3 years experiences in 4 to 5 axis programming.
• Ability to interpret BOM & technical drawings.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
• Good knowledge of milling/ turning tooling and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CNC program with understanding of drawing detail, customer specifications and requirements.
• Create set-up sheet with tool list and cutting parameters to assist production department to achieve quotas with quality and safety guidelines.
• Ensure all program, set-up and tooling list are generated per QSM and engineering procedures.
• Conduct monthly updates of program once tested, generate setup sheet for each part as required.
• Design fixture and request new tools as needed.
• Review and approve all program sheets.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job description

Location: Pioneer Road
Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm
Remuneration Package: up to SGD5,000 Basic + Bonus

• Prepare CNC program with the understanding of drawing detail, customer specifications and requirements.
• Create set-up sheet with tool list and cutting parameter to assist production department to achieve its production quotas with quality and safety guidelines.
• Ensure all program, set-up and tooling list is generate as per company QSM and engineering department procedures.
• Conduct monthly update of program once the program is tested, generate setup sheet for each parts as required.
• Design fixture and request for new tools as and when required.
• Responsible to review and approve of all program sheets.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
