Job summary

GLOBALTRONIC BIO-TECH PRECISION (PTE. LTD.) is seeking an experienced CNC Process Engineer to develop and validate programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling and live-tooling lathes.

You will select tools, fixtures, cycle parameters, and lead efficiency improvements while collaborating with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure high-precision outcomes. Applicants should have at least 2 years of CNC process engineering experience and strong CAM skills (Mastercam, NX, SolidWorks), along with

Qualifications

• At least 2 years CNC process engineering experience.
• Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, Solidworks).
• Strong knowledge of G-code, speeds/feeds, and cutting tool metallurgy.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and ability to read complex mechanical drawings.
• Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Mazak).

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate CNC programs and machining processes for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and live-tooling lathes.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, fixtures, and machine parameters.
• Lead cycle time reduction and tool life improvement projects.
• Troubleshoot production issues – dimensional deviations, poor surface finish, chatter, tool breakage.
• Create setup sheets, tool lists, inspection plans, and standard work.
• Perform time studies, capability studies (Cpk), and first-article inspections.
• Collaborate with quality on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain program and process documentation revision control.
• Any other duties as assigned
