Job summary

International Ampire Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking reliable Machine Operators to run our Nanxing CNC Nesting and NB875A edge banding machines, delivering high-quality cabinet components and furniture parts. You will load NC programmes, monitor quality, perform tool changes, and maintain safety and cleanliness in a collaborative production environment.

Experience with wood-based panels, reading drawings, and willingness to work shifts are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating CNC nesting/routing machines and/or automatic edge banding/soft-forming machines.
• Familiar with wood-based panel materials (MDF, plywood, melamine, particle board).
• Able to read basic drawings and follow production instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Nanxing NCG2812E CNC Nesting Machine for cutting, drilling, grooving, routing and nesting of panel materials.
• Operate the Nanxing NB380 Soft Forming Edge Banding Machine for straight and soft-forming edge profiles.
• Load and manage NC programmes, set up jobs, and monitor machining quality and material yield.
• Carrying out tool changes (ISO30) and daily/weekly maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area and report alarms or quality issues.
• Work closely with production to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Job description

International Ampire Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based precision fabrication company specialising in CNC machining and custom manufacturing of wood-based materials (MDF, plywood, melamine, particle board, laminated boards, and composite panels).

We are looking for reliable and safety-conscious Machine Operators to operate our Nanxing CNC Nesting Machine (NCG2812E) and Soft Forming Edge Banding Machine (NB875A).

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality cabinet components, furniture parts, retail fixtures, and decorative panels with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the Nanxing NCG2812E CNC Nesting Machine for cutting, drilling, grooving, routing, and nesting of panel materials.
• Operate the Nanxing NB380 Soft Forming Edge Banding Machine for both straight and soft-forming edge profiles (Full C, Half J, Concave, Diamond, Teardrop, W-shape, etc.).
• Load and manage NC programmes, set up jobs, and monitor machining quality and material yield.
• Perform proper vacuum table operation, tool changes (ISO30), and drill block checks.
• Carry out daily and weekly routine maintenance and lubrication according to manufacturer schedules.
• Ensure all safety devices, dust extraction, and emergency stop procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area and report any machine alarms or quality issues immediately.
• Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating CNC nesting / routing machines and/or automatic edge banding / soft-forming machines (Nanxing, Homag, Biesse or similar preferred).
• Familiar with wood-based panel materials (MDF, plywood, melamine, particle board, etc.).
• Able to read basic drawings and follow production instructions.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to wear full PPE (ear protection, safety goggles, safety shoes, dust mask, gloves).
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Singapore Citizen / PR preferred. Work Permit / S Pass holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
