Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable CNC Machinist to plan, develop and improve manufacturing processes for efficient production and high quality.

You will prepare production and inspection plans from drawings and customer requirements, and develop CNC programs for milling and turning. You will design jigs and tooling for casting, oversee machining operations, lead FAI activities, and collaborate with Production and Quality to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing or precision engineering.
• Hands-on CNC machining experience is compulsory.
• Experience in machining, casting, precision manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and improve manufacturing processes for efficient production and quality.
• Prepare production and inspection processes from drawings and customer requirements.
• Develop and modify CNC programs for milling and turning operations.
• Design jigs, fixtures and tooling for machining, especially for casting components.
• Oversee machining processes including milling, turning, grinding and honing.
• Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and document processes.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and boost productivity.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor processes and explore new technologies to improve efficiency.
