Job summary

TALENT CONNECT HR CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a CNC Operator to set up and run precision milling and turning machines in a shop floor environment.

You will read engineering drawings, perform measurements with basic instruments, ensure quality tolerance, and maintain safe, clean production areas while collaborating with the team and reporting any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in CNC milling and/or CNC turning is preferred.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Familiar with basic measuring instruments and CNC machine operations.
• Knowledge of CNC programming or G-code is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Fresh candidates with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and measurements.
• Perform basic machine setting, tool changing and offset adjustments.
• Conduct dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Ensure finished products meet required quality and tolerance standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine or production issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the work area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and production requirements.
