Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to operate and set up CNC machines for production. You will perform programming, tooling selection, offsets, and ensure tight tolerances and high-quality surface finishes.

You will read engineering drawings and GD&T, monitor processes, and collaborate with Engineering, Programming, and Production teams to resolve issues while maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate or diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years hands-on CNC operation and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC turning and milling.
• Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, and Siemens controls.
• Ability to read GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Familiar with precision measurement instruments.
• Good understanding of tooling, inserts, cutting parameters, materials.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and high surface finish requirements.

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in operating and trouble shooting set up and CNC turning and milling machine.
• Strong knowledge of CNC Turning and milling machines.
• Hands-on experience with Fanuc, Mazak and Siemens CNC controls.
• Understanding of tooling, inserts, cutting parameters, and materials.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and high surface finish requirements.
• Skilled in interpreting GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with precision measurement instruments.
• Basic understanding of CNC programs (Fanuc/Siemens and Shop Turn)
• Read blueprints and specifications.
