Job summary

Yamazaki Mazak Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled supervisor to oversee CNC machine assembly, lead a team of technicians, and ensure quality and safety standards. You will identify issues, coordinate with production management, and drive OJT programs to elevate team competency while maintaining records and schedules.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering, 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, and hands-on CNC assembly and drawing interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in CNC assembly or quality control is advantageous.
• Hands-on CNC assembly and troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints.
• Strong leadership, team management, and ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Knowledge of 5S and HSE practices. Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the CNC machine assembly process.
• Lead, train and supervise a team of assembly technicians.
• Identify and address issues in the assembly process and delays.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback; manage personnel issues.
• Enforce quality control processes and safe working conditions.
• Maintain production records, attendance, downtime, and material usage.
• Coordinate with Production Manager to address delays and adjust schedules.
• Organize OJT and cross-training; maintain training records.
• Review quality findings and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in the production area.
