Job summary

Micron Singapore is seeking an Engineer – PD SG CMP to develop and optimize CMP processes for next‑generation 3D NAND technologies, in collaboration with global teams.

You will lead experiments, qualify processes, and transfer them to manufacturing while driving yield, cost, and quality improvements. This role offers exposure to cutting‑edge memory technologies and patents.

Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in a similar engineering role with a track record of successful project implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ambitious environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of CMP processes for advanced 3D NAND technologies.
• Characterize, optimize, and qualify CMP processes for future memory nodes.
• Work with international teams based in Singapore and suppliers to fulfill technology and integration needs.
• Transfer new processes into manufacturing and drive improvements in yield, quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot process and manufacturing issues, and develop effective solutions.
• Build and complete experiments (DOE) to improve process capability and manufacturability.
• Evaluate new consumables, hardware, and process technologies for future applications.
• Drive process simplification, process control, and monitoring strategies.
• Contribute to innovation through patents, technical papers, and new technology development.
• Ensure compliance with Micron intellectual property policies and collaborate closely with global collaborators.
• Use Micron‑approved AI tools to improve productivity, quality, and speed of execution where applicable, applying responsible AI practices and maintaining human review and accountability.
