Job summary

STMICROELECTRONICS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a CMP Equipment Engineer to ensure optimal CMP production tool performance, reliability, and process stability. You will support daily fab operations, troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, install and qualify new tools, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high utilization and product quality.

The role requires strong data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on maintenance in a cleanroom

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automation/Electrical/Electronics or related STEM field.
Prior CMP equipment engineering experience is preferred and familiarity with CMP tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor CMP equipment performance and analyze tool data.
Lead equipment troubleshooting and rapid response to tool issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CMP tools.
Collaborate with process, quality, production, facilities and supplier teams to improve line stability.
Coordinate with facilities and suppliers during hook-up, installation and commissioning activities.
Drive equipment performance optimization and OEE improvements.
Set up and maintain equipment monitoring systems and defect databases.
Develop and maintain equipment SOPs and maintenance procedures.
Train manufacturing operators to improve line competency.
