Job summary

SPH Media in Singapore seeks a mid/senior Cluster Head to oversee media solutions and advertising sales for a sector. You will guide a team, work with clients, partners and internal departments to drive growth and market leadership.

You will monitor sector performance against KPIs, develop strategic plans, build relationships, and mentor new team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Marketing or Business.
• 12 years of sales and marketing experience from the media industry.
• Experience in managing clients is advantageous.
• At least 5 years at supervisory level.
• Effectively bilingual.
• Ability to conceptualise, strategise, present and execute creative ideas.
• Outgoing, resourceful and self-motivated.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, technology advancement and market conditions to identify risks and opportunities for the sector.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sector, such as partnerships or innovative product/service offerings.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for the sector, aligning with SPH Media’s overall goals.
• Identify gaps and develop solutions for efficient internal process and campaign performance metrics.
• Monitor and evaluate sector performance against established goals and KPI.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners; mentor new team members.

About the Role

This role is a mid/senior-level position responsible for overseeing and managing media solutions and advertising sales for a specific sector/industry within SPH Media. The Cluster Head is tasked with driving strategic growth of the sector they are responsible for. They provide guidance and support to a team of professionals working within the sector and collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, partners and internal departments. The Cluster Head is expected to possess strong industry knowledge, leadership skills, business acumen and the ability to analyze market dynamics.

• Provide coaching and mentoring to new members within the team

Who we are looking for
