Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Patch Management professional to manage patches for Windows and Linux servers, create and refresh OS images, and deliver Level 2/3 technical support. You will ensure compliance, participate in 24x7 on-call rotations, and contribute to incident and change management.

The role requires a degree in a related field and hands-on WSUS and RHEL patching experience. Ideal candidates will have AWS Systems Manager experience and scripting skills with PowerShell

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EE/Computing or related discipline.
• Minimum one year of experience in systems administration, analysis, design, or programming.
• Hands-on WSUS and RHEL patch management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 and RHEL 8/9.
• Willing to participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Patch management for Windows and Linux servers using WSUS, AWS Systems Manager, or similar platforms.
• Monitor patch compliance and prepare audit/gov reports.
• Collaborate with teams to plan patch deployments during maintenance windows and perform post-deployment validation.
• Develop and refresh OS images using AWS Image Builder and Systems Manager Documents, ensuring security and compliance.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support and manage ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change Management.
• Document tickets and runbooks, adhere to SLAs, and share knowledge via SOPs and KB.
