Job summary

ALTROCKS TECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a IT systems professional with strong Linux and Unix administration experience to support production systems. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of OS patching, security, virtualization, and HA/clustering.

Experience in networking, storage, and databases, plus exposure to Apache, WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat/IIS, MQ, IBM ISAM, and cloud technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT or equivalent experience with Linux/MCSE/Unix Certification(s).
• Must have knowledge and working experience of Linux, preferably 2+ years hands-on experience in system administration for production systems.
• Experience in OS patching and upgrade, system security, OS virtualization, HA/clustering, replication, backup and recovery techniques.
• Working experience in networking (TCP/IP), physical hardware and/or storage systems.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of Unix (Solaris or AIX or other Unix) will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and working experience of apache http web server, middleware WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat/IIS, MQ, etc. will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and experiences in Integrated Security Access Management software such as IBM ISAM will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and experience of JDBC and Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps will be advantageous.
