Job summary

Google Singapore is seeking an Applied Solutions Architect Manager to lead a team of technical experts bridging business strategy with advanced engineering. You will co-design and build production-scale MVPs inside customer environments to maximize outcomes, while mentoring a diverse squad across Data Analytics, Security, Software Engineering, and AI.

You will drive production readiness and enable scalable, live deployments for strategic customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience in software engineering management, forward-deployed engineering, or multidisciplinary technical solution teams in a cloud environment.
• Experience in building generative AI solutions, multi-agent workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Experience in managing discovery, design, and implementation of production-grade cloud solutions.
• Experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Solution Architects and Engineers, driving culture, talent strategy, and skills development to deliver high-impact MVPs and accelerate customer production.
• Establish coding standards and architectural best practices to elevate engineering quality across the team.
• Scope high-value opportunities with sales and deploy cross-functional squads for key customer engagements.
• Lead recruitment for the engineering organization, evaluating candidates across software engineering, system design, AI, and data.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to unblock field deployments, translate customer insights into roadmaps, and build internal tools.
