Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is seeking an Operations Engineer for our Managed Services team based in Singapore. You will operate the Managed Service platform, collaborate with internal teams, and tackle the hardest technical challenges in a fast-paced, global environment.

The role requires strong OS and networking skills, experience with virtualization, CI/CD pipelines, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of network and OS support experience.
• 4+ years of virtualization, orchestration and cloud computing experience.
• 4+ years of CI/CD experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical support experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Managed Service platform and collaborate with internal service teams to meet our customers' infrastructure and application deployment needs.
• Troubleshoot deployments, reproduce customer issues, and build proof-of-concept applications; apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions.
• Work on highly complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services.
• Help build and maintain CloudFormation templates and automation scripts to deploy AWS resources and configuration changes.
• Collaborate and help build utilities and tools for internal use to enable safe, fast, scalable operations.
• Leverage day-to-day experience to voice customer needs to internal AWS teams.
• Drive customer communication during critical events.
• Learn and leverage emerging technologies.
