Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer in Singapore to manage AWS and Azure environments, ensuring service reliability and security. You will drive automation, support incident response, and help shape operational best practices within the team.

The role requires 3+ years in cloud operations, strong scripting skills, and hands-on IaC usage. Collaboration with project teams and vendors is essential, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT infrastructure or cloud operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and monitoring services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
• Experience scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Understanding backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Monitor environments for availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot incidents and service disruptions.
• Perform patching, maintenance, backup, and recovery tasks.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls and governance.
• Manage resources, costs, and capacity planning.
• Support IaC and automation initiatives.
• Coach and mentor junior cloud engineers.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management.
