Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is seeking an Operations Engineer for the AWS Managed Services team in Singapore. You will help operate and automate cloud infrastructure, diagnose complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support global customers.

The role emphasizes OS and network troubleshooting, virtualization, CI/CD, and building reusable scripts and templates to run AWS resources at scale, with a focus on uptime and security.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of network and OS support experience.
• 4+ years of virtualization, orchestration and cloud computing experience (Hypervisors, VMware, Xen).
• 4+ years of CI/CD experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical support experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Managed Service platform and collaborate with internal service teams to meet our customers' infrastructure and deployment needs.
• Troubleshoot deployments, recreate customer issues, and build proof of concept applications; apply advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Work on critical, highly complex customer problems spanning multiple AWS services.
• Help build and maintain CloudFormation templates and scripts to automate AWS resources and configuration changes.
• Collaborate to build utilities for internal use enabling safe, fast, large-scale operations.
