Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is seeking an Operations Engineer for its Managed Services team in Singapore. You will operate the Managed Service platform, troubleshoot deployments, and collaborate across AWS teams to support customer infrastructure at scale.

You will own complex faults spanning multiple AWS services, develop automation via CloudFormation and scripts, and apply deep OS and networking expertise to keep systems highly available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of network and operating system support experience.
• 4+ years of virtualization, orchestration and cloud computing (eg. Hypervisors, VMware, Xen) experience.
• 4+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical support experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Managed Service platform and collaborate with internal service teams to meet our customers' individual needs for their infrastructure and application deployments.
• Troubleshoot application deployments, recreate customer issues, and build proof of concept applications. Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to our customers' individual needs
• Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that will span multiple AWS services.
• Help build and maintain CloudFormation templates, and scripts to automate and deploy AWS resources and configuration changes.
