Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer in Singapore to manage AWS/Azure infrastructure, ensure high availability, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead incident response, implement IaC practices, and mentor junior engineers across cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with vendors and customers, enforcing security controls, and maintaining runbooks and documentation for seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT infrastructure or cloud operations experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and monitoring services.
• Experience with cloud operational support, incident management, and problem management.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
• Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.
• Good understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor junior cloud engineers on cloud technologies, operational processes, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management when required.

In addition to technical responsibilities, providing some technical guidance, and helping to develop operational best practices within the team.
