Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Cloud Operations professional in Singapore to monitor enterprise cloud infrastructure and respond to alarms. You will investigate alerts, perform initial troubleshooting, and coordinate with Platform, Infrastructure and Site Operations teams during incidents.

You will manage incidents end-to-end, document findings, and support planned maintenance while contributing to the reliability of hyperscale environments.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring enterprise infrastructure using monitoring, alerting or event platforms.
• Exposure to Linux-based environments, cloud infrastructure or enterprise platforms.
• Experience investigating technical incidents and coordinating resolution across multiple technical teams.
• Experience with ticketing or incident management platforms such as JIRA or ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud infrastructure using enterprise monitoring and alerting platforms.
• Respond to infrastructure alarms and operational events affecting cloud platforms and supporting infrastructure.
• Investigate alerts, assess operational impact, perform initial troubleshooting, and determine the appropriate escalation path.
• Act as the first point of contact for cloud infrastructure incidents affecting production environments.
• Coordinate with Platform, Infrastructure and Site Operations teams throughout the incident lifecycle.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting across cloud infrastructure and supporting platforms, escalating complex issues where required.
• Manage incidents through to resolution, ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication and operational updates.
• Track operational events, incidents and maintenance activities through JIRA and internal ticketing systems.
• Produce detailed incident reports, shift handovers and operational documentation.
• Support planned maintenance and operational changes by following established operational procedures and runbooks.
• Contribute to maintaining the availability and reliability of one of the world's largest hyperscale technology environments.

• Experience working with ticketing or incident management platforms such as JIRA, ServiceNow or similar.


• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Experience following operational procedures, runbooks and documented processes.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm and methodical in a fast-paced operational environment.
