Job summary

TALENT FIRST PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer in Singapore for a 12-month contract.

You will manage servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments, ensure security and compliance, and support DR/BC plans. The role requires hands-on administration of Windows and Linux servers, plus collaboration with vendors. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in IT/CS and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration or network management.
Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, networking technologies and virtualisation platforms.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, AWS or other cloud technologies.
Familiarity with firewalls, endpoint security solutions and infrastructure security practices.
Understanding of backup solutions, disaster recovery procedures and IT service management.
Experience supporting IT infrastructure projects and coordinating with external vendors would be advantageous.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, virtualisation platforms and cloud environments.
Administer network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPN connections and firewalls.
Support Microsoft 365, AWS and hybrid cloud environments to ensure system availability and reliability.
Manage endpoint devices, security configurations, software updates and system maintenance.
Implement infrastructure security controls and ensure compliance with established IT policies and standards.
Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing and business continuity activities.
Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot technical issues and recommend system improvements.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers on maintenance, upgrades and technical support.
Participate in IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations and network improvements.
Maintain technical documentation, system configurations and operational procedures.
Provide advanced technical support and assist with escalated infrastructure-related issues.
Undertake other IT-related duties as assigned.
