Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions in Singapore is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the design, deployment, and management of cloud architectures across AWS and Azure. You will apply cloud engineering and security best practices to mitigate risks and ensure scalable, resilient operations.

You will produce artefacts for design and implementation, mentor teams, and drive Day 1 and Day 2 activities, automation via IaC, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience deploying and operating cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager.
• Proven experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and government clients in Singapore.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and patterns for enterprise-scale deployments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure across Day 1 (deployment, configuration, migration) and Day 2 (operations, monitoring, optimization, incident response).
• Experience with IaC and scripting (Python) and automation.
• Familiarity with hybrid/multi-cloud environments; Google Cloud knowledge is a plus.
• Strong collaboration in cross-functional, Agile, and DevOps teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern cloud architectures across AWS and Azure.
• Test and evaluate new cloud-native services and deployment models for scalability, resilience, and security.
• Document design, operation, and outputs of cloud environments.
• Implement Day 1 and Day 2 cloud solutions with automation and monitoring.
• Lead incident resolution and performance optimization efforts.
