Job summary

ST Engineering’s Cloud and Data Centre Solutions unit in Singapore is seeking aspiring and proactive IT infrastructure professionals to join our journey in designing, implementing and managing scalable data-centre and cloud systems.

You will work with Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms including Nutanix, and network security appliances, delivering reliable 24/7 operations and comprehensive project documentation across engagements.

Qualifications

Experience with Windows Server and Linux in virtualised environments.
Familiarity with Nutanix platform and virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of VPN and firewall appliances.
Understanding of network switches/routers.
Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work within a team.
Self-driven, proactive with analytical thinking.
Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, monitor and control the various technical aspect of the project.
Manage or participate in new setup or upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects.
Responsible for supporting operational systems satisfying contractual Service Level Agreement
Perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities promptly and effectively
Provide project documentation and reports
Diagnose and rectify technical issues
