Job summary

Riskdata Consulting in Singapore seeks a highly experienced Cloud Architect to lead architecture and hands-on engineering efforts. You will design enterprise-scale cloud solutions and translate architecture into automated implementations, collaborating with CloudOps, SRE, security, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has deep AWS expertise, strong automation skills, and a proven track record in cost optimization, security governance, and scalable, reliable production deployments.

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS core services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM.
• Proficiency in CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as GitLab, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with cloud security controls, governance, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of cloud-native architectures for enterprise workloads.
• Define and maintain cloud reference architectures, reusable patterns, and standards.
• Review solution architectures for scalability, reliability, high availability, performance, security, and cost.
• Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Automate with Python/Ansible/Bash/PowerShell and support container deployments.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to preventive actions.
