Job summary

STAR CAREER CONSULTING PTE LTD on behalf of our client is seeking an experienced Technical Manager (Cloud) to lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise cloud environments across AWS and Azure. This role covers Day 1 deployment and Day 2 operations with a strong focus on architecture, automation, security, resilience, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of cloud infrastructure deployment and operations experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, covering both Day 1 and Day 2 activities.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, automation, and cloud monitoring.
• Experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or government sector clients in Singapore.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, scalability, resilience, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS and Azure cloud architectures aligned with security and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud-native services, tools, and deployment approaches.
• Implement enterprise cloud solutions across Day 1 deployment and Day 2 operations.
• Resolve issues arising from cloud deployments, migrations, integrations, and operations.
• Drive automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, security, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee cloud platform maintenance and associated automation tools.
• Lead disaster recovery drills and simulation testing for critical workloads.
• Lead resolution of incidents and performance bottlenecks in cloud environments.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation and/or Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
• Experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or Singapore Government sector clients
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, scalability, resilience, and best practices
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, automation, and cloud monitoring
• Python scripting experience is advantageous
• Hybrid/multi-cloud experience and GCP knowledge are advantageous
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
