Cognizant Technology Solutions Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking a GIS Solution Architect to drive the digital transformation of enterprise geospatial systems.

You will lead the migration of ArcGIS ecosystems to the cloud, bridging GIS science with .NET/JS engineering to deliver scalable, secure solutions. You will oversee cloud-native designs for ArcGIS Enterprise, manage legacy migrations, and guide web app development using C# .NET, React, and Next.js while ensuring governance and security

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud services (EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda).
• Strong experience with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Monitor, ArcGIS Pro, ArcObjects, and Esri Workflow Manager (WFM).
• Advanced proficiency in C# .NET Core/8, Python, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end frameworks (React/Next.js).
• Hands-on experience with spatial data science and image processing libraries (OpenCV, RasterIO, PyTorch).
• Azure or AWS Associate-level certification, or ISTQB Foundation certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures for ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise within cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Lead migration strategy for legacy GIS platforms to the cloud.
• Oversee development of enterprise web apps using C# .NET, React, and Next.js integrated with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.
• Ensure all digital solutions meet enterprise security, governance, and quality protocols.
• Develop and optimise Python (ArcPy, GDAL) and FME pipelines for geoprocessing and ETL tasks.
• Implement microservices using .NET/Python and Docker, managed via DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as technical lead in discussions with business stakeholders, translating requirements into blueprints and managing UAT.
