Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking a Mgr Cloud FinOps & Engineering to drive cloud financial operations, governance, and cost optimization. The role combines financial discipline with hands-on cloud engineering support to enable scalable, cost-efficient cloud platforms.

The candidate will manage cloud spend analysis, budgeting, vendor contracts, and internal MEMOs while partnering with engineering for efficient architectures and cost-aware deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in Cloud FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud engineering is required.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with budgeting/forecasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud FinOps, governance, and cost optimization across platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Manage cloud contracts, vendor governance, and documentation for audit readiness.
• Prepare MEMOs and secure approvals for cloud spend and renewals.
• Provide hands-on cloud engineering support and contribute to automation and performance improvements.
