Job summary

United Overseas Bank is seeking a Vice President of Cloud Engineering to lead its cloud initiatives in Singapore. The role focuses on driving cloud strategy, guiding engineers, and delivering scalable architectures with strong security and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of cloud engineering experience, banking sector know-how, and deep expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP, Terraform/CloudFormation, and programming languages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in cloud engineering or related fields.
• Experience leading cloud transformation projects, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and execution of cloud engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable cloud architectures.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in all cloud operations.
• Monitor cloud performance and optimize resources for cost efficiency and reliability.
