Job summary

BLUE OCEAN SYSTEMS INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is urgently hiring a Cloud Engineer in Singapore to design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure service availability, security, and performance.

The role requires hands‑on experience with AWS/Azure, Terraform, Linux, and security/compliance best practices, plus strong collaboration and documentation skills. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven Cloud Engineer with AWS and Azure expertise.
• Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform; scripting in Python/Bash a plus.
• Strong Linux skills and solid understanding of cloud security and compliance.

Hi,

Urgent opening for Cloud engineer

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security components
• Work closely with application teams, security teams, and other internal stakeholders to resolve complex cloud-related issues and ensure service availability
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize the health, performance, and security of cloud environments while proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and infrastructure optimization to enhance availability, scalability, operational efficiency, and cost management
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls, governance policies, and compliance requirements in accordance with industry best practices
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices for cloud infrastructure and support activities
• Participate in the design, implementation, migration, and optimization of cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and architectural standards
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve the organization's cloud capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a deep understanding of cloud platforms and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and best practices.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS & Azure, including cloud-native services, infrastructure components, and networking.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
• Strong Linux skillset
• Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices for protecting cloud resources and data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
