Job summary

Upper Spring Consulting Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions, ensuring integration with on-prem Windows/Linux infrastructure and robust network security.

You will design and deploy cloud infra in AWS/Azure, manage Windows and Linux environments, and implement security controls. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in the field, strong Windows/Linux/Networking background, and proficiency in IaC tools and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience with Windows, Linux, and networking.
• Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Strong Windows and Linux Server administration (AD, GPO, DNS).
• Solid knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
• IaC experience with Terraform or ARM templates.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance.
• Experience in pre-sales architecture, proposals and client presentations.
• Certs such as AWS/Azure/RHCE/CCNA/CCNP are a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Singapore GovTech GCC environment is desirable.

• Participate in pre-sales activities, including crafting technical proposals and RFP input.

We are representing our client, a large IT solution provider, to look for an experienced Cloud Engineer to complement the existing team of consultants. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions while ensuring seamless integration with on-premises Windows and Linux infrastructure and robust network security.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the field with a strong Windows, Linux, and networking background.
• Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy,etc.).
• Solid knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ansible scripting.

• Experience in pre-sales architecture, proposal writing, and technical client presentations.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, RHCE, or CCNA/CCNP will be added advantage.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Singapore GovTech GCC environment is desirable.
