Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure with hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Fresh graduates and experienced candidates with an IT/CS background are welcome. The role focuses on building scalable, secure cloud solutions, guiding migrations, implementing IaC, and collaborating with DevOps and app teams to support CI/CD pipelines and container workloads.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with virtualization and cloud-native services.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of networking (VPC, VPNs, firewalls) and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across public and hybrid environments.
• Plan and execute cloud migrations, deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Provision and maintain cloud resources using IaC tools.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud systems.
• Monitor environments and ensure SLA compliance.
• Perform maintenance, patching, backups, and DR planning.
• Manage virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, and security configurations.
• Collaborate with DevOps and apps teams to support CI/CD and container workloads.
• Troubleshoot issues and prepare architecture diagrams and reports.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Cloud Engineers with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), networking fundamentals, virtualization, and security best practices.

Open to both fresh graduates and experienced candidates with a relevant IT/Computer Science/Engineering background.

Candidates with hands-on exposure to cloud technologies through internships, projects, or work experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions across public and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Plan, execute, monitor, and deliver cloud migration, deployment, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Provision and maintain cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems.
• Monitor cloud environments and ensure compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, backup management, and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement and manage virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, and security configurations in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve cloud infrastructure and network-related issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and project reports.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with virtualization, hypervisors, and cloud-native services.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, and routing.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
