Job summary

Argyll Scott Asia is seeking a DevOps Engineer - Cloud in Singapore for a 12-month contract with extension possibility. You will manage CI/CD platforms, design pipelines, and support deployment models across on-premises and AWS.

The role focuses on quality, security and reliability, with hands-on work on Docker, Kubernetes/EKS and IaC tools. Applicants should have 5+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years in DevOps, and strong AWS, Terraform, and observability skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
5+ years professional software development experience, with at least 4 years in DevOps roles.
Strong hands-on experience managing CI/CD platforms (GitLab, GitHub Actions).
Experience with AWS across compute, networking, storage, and security services.
Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS; Terraform and CloudFormation/CDK; observability tools.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain CI/CD platforms such as GitLab and GitHub Actions.
Design, automate and optimise CI/CD pipelines with focus on quality, security and reliability.
Design and support deployment models across on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
Implement and manage containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
Support cloud migration and application modernisation strategies.
Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation/CDK.
Implement configuration management, monitoring and observability with Datadog and Helm.
Provide hands-on support across AWS compute, networking, storage and security.
