Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Cloud) to support the design, deployment, and operations of scalable, secure platforms for urban transport systems. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in DevOps, strong skills in CI/CD tools and cloud platforms, and expertise in containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure systems and engage in digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).
• Knowledge of system architecture, networking, and security principles.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure using IaC practices.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless system integration and delivery.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices, embedding security into the development lifecycle.
• Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
