Job summary

NuVista Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a Cloud Developer – Senior Consultant to design, implement, automate, and support secure, scalable AWS infrastructure across multi-account environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation), Terraform, Ansible, Python, and modern automation tools. Collaboration with security, network, and operations teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 8 years hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise AWS environments.
• Strong knowledge of EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, and multi-account AWS environments.
• Experience with Singapore Government GCC/GCC+ environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash or other scripting languages for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure across multi-account environments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operations using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and perform root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
• Implement cloud security controls and support remediation of findings.
• Monitor availability, performance, resilience, security, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture docs, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions.
• Participate in reviews and provide guidance to engineers and projects.

Cloud Developer – Senior Consultant
Contract Duration: 24 Months

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Developer – Senior Consultant to design, implement, automate, and support secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure, primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The successful candidate will work closely with application, cybersecurity, network, and operations teams to deliver reliable and compliant cloud solutions. This role requires strong hands‑on experience in AWS infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, cloud networking, security, automation, and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, configure, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure across enterprise and multi‑account environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational activities using Terraform, Ansible, AWS Systems Manager, Python, and other automation tools.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, networking, deployment, and automation issues, including performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Implement cloud security controls and support the remediation of security, compliance, vulnerability, and audit findings.
• Monitor and continuously improve cloud infrastructure availability, performance, resilience, security, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, technical standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational runbooks.
• Work closely with application, cybersecurity, network, cloud service provider, and vendor teams to translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable cloud solutions.
• Participate in architecture and solution reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers and project teams.
• Promote engineering best practices across cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise AWS cloud environments.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of AWS architecture and core services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and multi‑account AWS environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM and cloud security, including least‑privilege access, access governance, security controls, vulnerability remediation, and audit and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC/GCC+) environments will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with demonstrated experience in resolving complex production infrastructure issues and conducting root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages for cloud infrastructure automation and integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment, using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or equivalent.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly.
