Job summary

KRIS INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Cloud Architecture lead to design, govern and deliver scalable cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.

The role focuses on defining cloud architecture strategies and guiding solution design across enterprise transformation initiatives. You will work with Azure and/or AWS, drive modernization of applications, collaborate with security, data, and infrastructure teams, and provide technical leadership through the full lifecycle including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with solution/enterprise/cloud architecture.
• Hands-on cloud architecture experience on Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience migrating and modernizing enterprise cloud solutions.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical designs.

Job Description

• Design, lead and deliver scalable, secure and resilient cloud-based solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.
• The role will be responsible for defining cloud architecture strategies, evaluating technology options, guiding solution design and supporting the implementation of enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Azure and/or AWS, enterprise solution architecture, application modernization, cloud transformation and integration of business applications and emerging technologies such as AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define cloud architecture and solution strategies aligned with business requirements and enterprise technology standards.
• Develop scalable, secure, highly available and cost-effective cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Translate business and technical requirements into detailed cloud solution architectures, technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Assess existing applications and infrastructure and recommend appropriate cloud migration, modernization and transformation strategies.
• Lead architecture discussions across application, integration, data, security and infrastructure teams.
• Evaluate cloud technologies, platforms and services and recommend the most appropriate solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Define architecture standards, technology frameworks, design principles and best practices for cloud adoption.
• Conduct technical risk assessments, identify architecture gaps and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, from architecture and design through implementation, testing, deployment and operational support.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and system integrators to ensure successful delivery of cloud initiatives.
• Support RFP/RFI, solutioning and pre-sales activities, including technical proposals, solution estimation and architecture presentations.
• Review solution designs and provide architectural governance to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Support application modernization initiatives involving Dynamics 365, Power Platform, AI and other enterprise applications, where applicable.
• Identify opportunities for automation, digital transformation and optimization of cloud environments.
• Define and review cloud integration, deployment and operational support approaches.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to architects, engineers and development teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in cloud architecture, delivery processes, governance and technology adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, with significant experience in solution, enterprise or cloud architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience in Cloud Architecture, preferably across Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud migration, modernization and digital transformation principles.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, integration and enterprise technology environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including application development, infrastructure, security, data and business stakeholders.
• Strong experience in technical solutioning, architecture reviews and technical risk assessment.
• Experience in preparing or supporting RFP/RFI responses, proposals, solution estimation and pre-sales activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or other structured delivery methodologies.
• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks and best practices; TOGAF certification is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM and Power Platform.
• Experience with AI/Generative AI and AI-enabled business solutions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Experience in enterprise application modernization and transformation.
• Experience working with BFSI, healthcare, government or other large enterprise environments.
