Job summary

Sengkang General Hospital Pte. Ltd. is seeking a medical coder responsible for accurate abstraction and coding of diagnoses and procedures in a hospital setting.

You will interact with doctors and healthcare professionals on coding matters, participate in audits and reviews, and contribute to ongoing education and training for new clinical coders to maintain coding quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Health Sciences or equivalent with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.
• Certificate in ICD-10-AM Coding or relevant medical coding experience in a hospital setting.
• Meticulous with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Abstract and code diagnoses and procedures accurately and timely.
