Job summary

A recognized medical institution in Singapore is seeking a Clinical Associate in Cardiology. The role involves assisting in cardiac procedures and providing patient care. Candidates must have a recognized medical degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience. A good command of English and documented vaccinations are also required. Suitable candidates will be offered a 1-year contract. Vaccination against Covid-19 is mandatory for consideration.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of post-housemanship working experience as a medical officer or equivalent.
• Passed the national licensing examination as required.
• Documented proof of required vaccinations.
• A good command of English (both written and spoken).
• Vaccination requirements: Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination within the last 10 years; Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years; Covid-19 vaccination as per MOH definitions.

You will assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care in the Department of Cardiology. Suitable candidates will be offered employment on a 1-year contract.

Requirements:

• A recognised basic medical degree
• Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
• At least 3 years’ post-housemanship working experience as a medical officer (or equivalent) in the relevant field / specialty or possess a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant field /specialty
• A good command of English (both written and spoken)
• Documented proof of:

  (i)Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and

  (ii)Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
  Applicants without these vaccinations may apply if they commit to completing the required vaccination(s) before work commencement, upon successful job offer.
