Job summary

National Heart Centre of Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a cardiology specialist to join our multidisciplinary team delivering day-to-day patient care in cardiovascular medicine across outpatient and inpatient settings.

You will assist in invasive and non-invasive investigations and procedures and support all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care in the Department of Cardiology, contributing to teaching and research as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic Medical Degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council.
• Postgraduate qualification recognised by the relevant medical board.
• Passed the national licensing examination as applicable to the degree.
• Prior experience in an acute hospital setting is essential.
• Strong interest or credentials in research would be advantageous.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Vaccination proof: Measles/MMR vaccination or immunity; and Tdap vaccination within last 10 years.

• Provide day-to-day patient care in cardiovascular medicine in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Assist in invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations and procedures.
• Support all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care in the Department of Cardiology.

You are part of the multidisciplinary team providing day-to-day patient care in the cardiovascular medicine. You will assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care in the Department of Cardiology.

Requirements

• Basic Medical Degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
• Relevant and recognised postgraduate qualification
• Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
• Prior experience in an acute hospital setting is essential
• Strong interest and/or credentials in research would be an advantage
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Documented proof of:

  (i)Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and

  (ii)Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
