Job summary

Newcastle Clinic Pte. Ltd. on Orchard Road is seeking a proactive Clinic Assistant to support daily operations, assist medical procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience in a modern GP setting.

You will manage patient flow, register patients, handle cashiering, and assist with ECG, wound care, and point-of-care tests under supervision. Immediate start and full-time hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma/A Levels or equivalent qualification required or welcome (SPM and above).
• Basic computer literacy expected and IT savvy.
• Healthcare experience or willingness to learn in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow and operational tasks for efficient daily clinic operations.
• Handle clinic appointments, registrations, and cashiering with accuracy and professionalism.
• Assist doctor in clinical procedures including ECG, wound dressing, and HbA1c point-of-care testing.
• Triaging patients with ARI symptoms to direct appropriate medical attention.
• Conduct rapid swab tests and PCR diagnostics under supervision for respiratory viruses.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle patient information responsibly.
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues to foster a friendly environment.
• Use clinic management software for administrative tasks.
• Demonstrate punctuality and eagerness to develop clinical and operational skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinic Assistant to support daily clinic operations, assist medical procedures, and ensure a positive patient experience at our modern GP clinic in Orchard Road.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow and operational tasks to ensure efficient daily clinic operations
• Handle clinic appointments, patient registrations, and cashiering with accuracy and professionalism
• Assist the doctor in performing clinical procedures including ECG, wound dressing, and point-of-care testing such as HbA1c for diabetes screening
• Triaging patients presenting with Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) symptoms to direct appropriate medical attention
• Conduct rapid swab tests and PCR diagnostics for Influenza, COVID-19, and other respiratory viruses under supervision
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information responsibly
• Communicate clearly and courteously with patients and colleagues to foster a friendly, patient-focused environment
• Use clinic management software effectively for administrative tasks
• Demonstrate punctuality, responsibility, and eagerness to develop clinical and operational skills

• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: $2,300.00 - $3,200.00 per month
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Saturday (half day)
