Job summary

NTU's Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI), in collaboration with the Earth Observatory of Singapore, seeks a Research Associate for the Climate Transformation Program (CTP). The role involves literature review, VR tool development, and experimental studies to inform sustainable societies in Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in communication, psychology, sociology, or a related social science discipline.
• Strong foundation in VR app development, experimental research and analytical skills (SPSS, MPLUS, or R).
• Team player with ability to work independently in a multicultural environment.
• Demonstrated research track record with journal publications and conference presentations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in literature searches and manuscript preparation.
• Engage in VR app development and implementation for the project.
• Design and implement experiments and conceptualize research plans.
• Conduct statistical analyses with experimental data.
• Contribute to publications and presentations.
• Prepare progress and final research reports.
• Disseminate results under PI supervision.
• Assist with administrative tasks for the research program.
