Job summary

TEOH & CO LLC is seeking a proactive, client-focused professional to work closely with the General Manager in managing client relationships, coordinating matters, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

The role involves handling enquiries, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating with our lawyers and business partners to deliver timely updates and smooth progression of matters. A Singapore law-firm background or related legal experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Singapore law firm is preferred.
• Experience in mortgage, banking, conveyancing or real estate is a plus.
• Fluent English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as one of the first points of contact for prospective and existing clients.
• Understand clients' objectives and direct them to the appropriate lawyer.
• Manage the General Manager's client portfolio and follow-up pipeline.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners.
• Coordinate with banks, property agents, financial advisers and other professionals.
• Liaise with lawyers to ensure timely updates and smooth progression of matters.
• Attend meetings with the General Manager where required.
• Prepare quotations, engagement documents and simple presentations.
• Support networking events, client appreciation events and business development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate client records and CRM.
• Identify opportunities to cross-refer clients to other practice areas within the firm.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who ideally possesses one of the following:

• Experience working in a Singapore law firm (preferred); or
• Experience in mortgage or banking (particularly home loans); or
• Experience in conveyancing, property transactions, or the real estate industry or
• Legal education

In addition, the successful candidate should:

• Be fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with our English- and Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be highly organised with strong follow-up abilities.
• Be able to work independently while managing multiple matters.
• Be comfortable interacting with professionals and high-net-worth individuals.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
