Job summary

Julius Baer Singapore is seeking a Client Onboarding Documentation Officer in Private Banking. You will review account documents submitted by Relationship Managers and ensure timely, accurate opening in the core systems.

You will track deficiencies and escalate according to procedure while delivering high-quality service to internal clients. The role also covers support for signature verification, information retrieval, and cross-functional tasks.

Qualifications

• Degree with 3-4 years of banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of account documentation in private banking.
• Proficient with MS Office and technology aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Review account documents submitted by Relationship Managers.
• Ensure accounts are opened timely and accurately in the systems.
• Track and escalate document deficiencies per procedure.
• Process amendments on accounts accurately and promptly.
• Provide quality service to internal clients (RMs, Assistant RMs).
• Support other departments (e.g. signature verification, information retrieval).
• Assist in user acceptance testing and support process improvements.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Client Onboarding SG – Documentation Officer is a key member of the team within Private Banking. He/she is to work proactively with the business, and other internal functions in the review of the account opening documentation.

He/she is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the account opening, as well as the efficient handling of enquiries, escalating to senior colleagues where necessary.

YOUR CHALLENGE

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Client Management (internal)

• Review account documents submitted by Relationship Managers
• Ensure accounts are opened in the systems in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure document deficiencies are accurately tracked and escalated as per procedure
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of amendments on the accounts
• Ensure quality service is provided to internal clients i.e. Relationship Managers / Assistant RMs
• Support other departments in various activities (e.g. signature verification, information retrieval)

Business Management

• Strong commitment to quality service and a desire to drive continuous process improvement initiatives
• Support new initiatives and ad hoc tasks as assigned by HOD
• Support the team in user acceptance testing

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management

• Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

• Work with Legal & Compliance and other stakeholders on documentation requirements
