Job summary

Kurita Singapore is seeking a motivated Engineer in the Chemical Department to support customer account management, business development, service coordination, and operational activities across assigned territories.

The role combines technical depth with commercial acumen, requires collaboration with service teams, and involves travel to customer sites as needed. Fresh graduates are welcome, with 3–5 years of relevant experience offering an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome; candidates with 3–5 years' relevant experience have an added advantage.
• Experience in water treatment, specialty chemicals, refinery, petrochemical, or related sectors is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and remote locations within Kurita Singapore’s assigned territories.
• Strong English communication skills to engage customers and internal stakeholders professionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and remote collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within existing and potential accounts.
• Provide technical and commercial support for water treatment and specialty chemical applications.
• Coordinate with service technicians and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Support daily operational and administrative activities required by the business group.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory expectations.
• Perform additional sales, service, and operational duties as assigned to support business objectives.
