Job summary

ECOLAB PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Process Engineer to design, calculate and optimize processes in ultrapure water and wastewater treatment, contributing to early design reviews and project execution.

You will generate PFDs, P&IDs, technical data sheets, and participate in HAZOP and safety reviews, while supporting startups and commissioning. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's or higher in chemical/environmental/mechanical engineering, with at least three years of hands-on experience and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in chemical / environmental / mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with good knowledge in process control, water and wastewater treatment.
• Self-starters, able to work independently, and passionate about water/wastewater, chemical and/or environmental engineering.
• Analytical thinking & problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design, calculate and optimize processes in the fields of ultrapure water and wastewater treatment
• Generate & review PFD's, P&ID's, material, quantity and energy balances, utility and consumable balances as well as technical data sheets for major equipment items
• Generate technical specifications for packaged units, process equipment
• Participate in design reviews and clarifications at the early stages of process and basic engineering works
• Participate in HAZOP and safety review or assessment
• Participate in training, commissioning and start-up activities
• Ad-hoc feasibility studies/task assignments
• To work within the Design team and to support project managers on all project activities
• Prepare documentation for submission and supporting project team on plant startup, performance test, optimization and hand-over.
