Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the production department in Singapore. You will lead a team to meet daily targets while upholding strict quality and safety standards, ensuring robust manpower planning and staff development.

Close collaboration with engineering will address production and quality issues and maintain compliance with schedules and security protocols. The role requires strong leadership, expertise in lean tools, and a proven track record in production

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent discipline.
• Knowledge of Q.S.E standards and workplace compliance.
• Proficiency with lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience in production reporting, manpower planning, and operations management.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production department and ensure daily operations run efficiently.
• Lead the team to achieve production targets while meeting quality and safety standards.
• Ensure manpower planning, staff development, and team discipline are well maintained.
• Monitor equipment performance and take immediate action on operational issues.
• Maintain compliance with internal procedures, work schedules, and security standards.
• Drive lean manufacturing improvements and encourage team participation in suggestion systems.
• Allocate resources for production improvement projects and problem-solving activities.
• Ensure proper cleanroom practices and production standards are followed.
• Work closely with engineering teams to resolve production and quality issues.
• Communicate company objectives clearly to improve team performance and engagement.
