Job summary

Wola Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Production Manager in Singapore to oversee manufacturing operations, drive efficiency, quality, cost control and operational excellence.

You will translate production plans into shop-floor actions, manage resources and develop a capable production team, collaborating with Engineering and Quality to support new product introduction and continuous improvement. This role requires 5+ years in production management, a relevant engineering degree, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; 5+ years in production management.
• Experience in production planning, manpower allocation, cost control and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 6S practices; Lean manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations to meet targets and delivery schedules.
• Translate the master plan into detailed production schedules and allocate manpower, equipment and materials.
• Drive initiatives to improve productivity, manufacturing efficiency and cost performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce labour hours, material wastage and manufacturing overheads.
• Monitor production quality issues and collaborate with Quality and Engineering on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and process stability.
• Develop the production team through structured training, coaching, skills development and performance management.
• Support new product introduction, trial production, process validation and transition to mass production.
• Work closely with Engineering teams to provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations.
• Maintain 6S standards and promote a safe manufacturing environment.
