Job summary

NTS Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Technician (Cleanroom) to precisely assemble semiconductor equipment modules in a controlled environment. You will follow engineering drawings and SOPs, ensure ESD/FOD compliance, and support integration with manufacturing engineering, quality and planning teams.

The role requires 2–6 years of hands-on experience in precision assembly, strong reading of drawings, and a detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

ITE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2–6 years hands-on precision mechanical assembly experience.
Experience in semiconductor, electronics, medical devices or high-precision contract manufacturing preferred.
Cleanroom, ESD/FOD, and ISO 9001 knowledge beneficial.
Able to read engineering drawings, BOMs and SOPs.

Responsibilities

Assemble precision mechanical components and sub-assemblies to tight tolerances.
Perform alignment, torquing, levelling and adjustments per drawings.
Use calibrated tools and perform in-process quality checks.
Support module integration and pre-shipment preparation with traceability.
Follow cleanroom, ESD, FOD and EHS procedures; report non-conformances.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality and planning teams; contribute to Kaizen and 5S.
Assist in training junior technicians.
