Whether it's ultra-complex or ultra-precise solutions, we take pride in what we do and what we deliver.### **Job description**As **Mechanical Technician (Cleanroom)** at **NTS Singapore** you will be responsible for the precision mechanical assembly of semiconductor equipment modules, panels and sub-assemblies in a controlled cleanroom manufacturing environment. You will work according to engineering drawings, BOMs, SOPs and customer work instructions, ensuring that assemblies meet strict quality and precision requirements. The role requires a strong focus on cleanroom protocols, ESD and FOD control, product cleanliness, traceability and EHS requirements. You will work closely with manufacturing engineering, quality and planning teams to support successful module integration and continuous improvement.### **Furthermore, your duties are:*** Assemble precision mechanical components, frames, panels and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, BOMs, SOPs and customer work instructions, including alignment, fastening, torquing, levelling and adjustment to tight tolerances* Use calibrated hand tools, torque wrenches, fixtures and gauges, and perform in-process quality checks and basic functional verification* Support module integration and pre-shipment preparation while ensuring accurate completion of production travellers, checklists and traceability records* Strictly follow cleanroom, ESD, FOD, material handling, PPE and EHS procedures, while maintaining the cleanliness of work areas, tools, fixtures and components and preventing damage to sensitive semiconductor parts* Identify and report non-conformances, safety hazards, incidents and near misses, and support resolution in accordance with customer quality requirements, ISO 9001 and internal QMS procedures* Work collaboratively with manufacturing engineering, quality and planning teams, and contribute to Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives* Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians and perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the team leader* #### **Job requirements** + ITE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting, Tool & Die or an equivalent technical qualification + 2–6 years of hands-on experience in precision mechanical assembly + Prior experience in semiconductor, electronics, medical devices or high-precision contract manufacturing is preferred + Exposure to cleanroom manufacturing environments is highly desirable + Strong ability to read and work from engineering drawings, BOMs, SOPs and work instructions + Good understanding of precision assembly practices, quality requirements, ESD/FOD control and workplace safety + Responsible, detail-oriented and quality-conscious, with good teamwork and communication skills* #### **Your terms of employment*** ####* #### **About NTS**### Interested in this vacancy or would you like to know more?Apply now and send your CV (and cover letter) via the application button above.
