• Supervise and guide cleaners assigned to an area.
• Ensure all cleaning is carried out safely and systematically.
• Report issues and update the manager on cleaning processes.

Job description

• Supervises and guide the cleaners assigned to an area.
• Follows-up with work instructions given by the Executive related to the cleanliness of an area.
• Ensures all cleaning are safely, properly and systematically carried out meeting the cleaning requirements.
• Supervises daily and monthly planned periodic works allocated to an area.
• Reports in a timely manner all defects, cleaners attendance and completion of all duties assigned.

1. Manage assigned team(s) of Cleaners to maintain cleanliness of assigned area.
2. Report attendance of Cleaners to site AA and Manager
3. Meet client KPIs for the day
4. Brief Cleaners on itinerary of areas to be cleaned for the day
5. Brief and remind Cleaners on safety procedures before the team proceeds to work for each day
6. Ensure that Cleaners are carrying the required cleaning tools, and that the tools are functional before travelling to assigned area
7. Ensure that Cleaners carry out their duties in a safe manner
8. Instruct Cleaners on more efficient cleaning techniques as and when possible
9. Praise Cleaners when they exhibit behaviour which is desirable for other Cleaners to imitate
10. Offer counsel and discipline for errant Cleaners (E.g. Poor attendance, lateness, negative attitudes)
11. Update Manager on issues and ways to improve cleaning processes
