Job summary

Auto Employment PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a professional Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations, supervise staff and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and service quality. The role focuses on manpower, schedules, supplies, and daily operations across assigned premises.

The ideal candidate will lead teams, communicate effectively with staff and clients, and take a hands-on approach to resolving operational issues, while adhering to SOPs and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level, GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in cleaning or facilities management.
• Experience supervising cleaning staff is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and safety.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities at assigned premises.
• Plan and allocate cleaning duties, schedules, and manpower.
• Ensure work meets company standards, client requirements and SOPs.
• Conduct inspections to maintain cleanliness, hygiene and quality.
• Train and coach staff on methods, equipment, and safety.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, performance, and productivity.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, chemicals and supplies.
• Manage inventory and replenishment of cleaning supplies.
• Report equipment damage, safety hazards and issues to management.
• Address client feedback and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of schedules, inspections, attendance, and supplies.
• Coordinate with clients and building management for service delivery.
• Assist in improving cleaning processes and productivity.
• Perform hands-on cleaning when required.
