Job summary

WMG PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a reliable delivery driver to operate Class 4/5 commercial vehicles safely and schedule deliveries efficiently. The role requires basic English, physical fitness, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading when needed, conducting pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate logs. Knowledge of Singapore roads and regulations is essential, with Mandarin or other languages an advantage.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 and/or Class 5 Driving Licence.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant commercial driving experience in Singapore preferred.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
• Clean driving record.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading duties when required.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic communication skills in English; Mandarin or other languages is an advantage.
• Experience operating tipper trucks, lorries, hook lifts, concrete mixers, trailers, or heavy vehicles is an advantage.
• Familiarity with construction, logistics, waste management, or engineering industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 4 and/or Class 5 commercial vehicles safely.
• Transport goods to designated locations according to the assigned schedule.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after each trip.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, and supporting documents.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
